Direct Mail is back in fashion, response rates are improving all the time.
So, number one, include the ‘magic words’ in your headline. That’s You, New, Now, Get and Free.
As well as the standard Who, What, Why, When, Where and How. Powerful words.
Number two, keep your paragraphs short and sharp.
So, that’s a maximum of 12 to 15 words per sentence, and a maximum of 4 lines per paragraph.
And finally, the postscript – P.S.
Studies have shown that the headline and the P.S. are the two things most likely to be read, so make sure the main benefits of your proposition are included in the P.S.
That’s all for now, the remaining 7 tips are available on my website; https://www.marketinggraham.com/how-to-write-sales-letters/
